These terms govern your use of NumberNote, operated by Buhle Sihlangu, a sole proprietor based in South Africa ("we", "us", "NumberNote"). By creating an account or using NumberNote, you agree to these terms.
Section 43 Disclosures (Electronic Communications and Transactions Act)
In compliance with section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, NumberNote discloses the following:

- • Payment terms and methods: payments are processed securely through Paystack, supporting cards and other locally available payment methods. NumberNote does not store your card details.

- • Complaints procedure: contact numbernote.support@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days.
If NumberNote fails to make any of the above disclosures available, you may be entitled to cancel the relevant transaction within 14 days of receiving the service, in accordance with section 43(3) of ECTA.
The service
NumberNote lets you upload or paste spreadsheet data (CSV/Excel) and receive plain-English insights, recommended actions, generated formulas, and optional dashboards. Usage is metered by a credit system tied to your subscription plan.
Accounts
- • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- • You must be legally able to enter into a contract to use NumberNote.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- • Upload data you do not have the right to use or share.
- • Use NumberNote for unlawful purposes.
- • Attempt to abuse, overload, or interfere with the service (including automated scraping or excessive API-style usage outside normal use).
- • Attempt to circumvent the credit system or billing.
Subscriptions and billing
- • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Paystack.

- • We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after a price change takes effect means you accept the new pricing.
Your data
- • You retain ownership of any data you upload to NumberNote.
- • You grant us permission to process that data solely to provide the service to you (including sending a compact, calculated summary to Claude for analysis).

Service availability
NumberNote is provided "as is." We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime, data loss, or service interruptions, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NumberNote and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including business decisions made based on NumberNote's analysis or recommendations. NumberNote provides informational insights, not professional financial, legal, or accounting advice.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
